Telecommunications Equipment Installer & Repairer

Main duties:
The candidate will work in a team environment performing the installation and maintenance of communications towers and will perform the following duties:

• Communications tower assembly, installation and maintenance
  Antennas installation
  
• Telecommunications equipment installation, maintenance and repair
  
• Other related duties

Requirements:

• Excellent physical condition
  
• Must be comfortable working at heights (0 to 300 metres)
  
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (winter and summer)
  
• Autonomy, methodical and proactive
  
• Adaptability and teamwork
  
• Read electrical blueprints
  
• Bilingual (must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing in English and French)
  
• Interprovincial mobility to work on projects located in Quebec, Ontario and occasionally in other provinces
  
• Selected candidates must be willing to pass physical fitness tests

Education :

• Installation and repair of telecommunications equipment vocational training or other related training

Assets :

• Previous work experience in a similar setting
  
• Mountain climbing, outdoor activities
  
• Other related training
